As part of this ambition, the Council is seeking an exceptionalHead of Corporate Capital Projectsto provide senior leadership across its multi-million-pound capital programme.

The opportunity
Reporting to the Director of Regeneration & Development, the Head of Corporate Capital Projects will lead the successful delivery of a complex portfolio of high-value capital schemes.
You will provide strategic leadership and expert advice across the full capital project lifecycle - from investment planning, feasibility and design through procurement, construction, completion and handover.
As the Council's key corporate expert in capital delivery, you will ensure that projects are delivered to a high standard, within robust financial and governance frameworks and in alignment with the Council's strategic priorities.
You will lead multidisciplinary teams and work collaboratively across the Council, with elected Members, professional advisers, contractors, delivery partners and external organisations.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
