Our Audit & Accounts team is now over 50 people strong, the largest department in the firm. As the team grows, so does the need to ensure that our systems, workflows, training and digital capability evolve in a thoughtful, scalable and future-focused way. You’d be stepping into this new role supporting the firm’s growth in line with our mission to ensure our people, our clients and our industry flourish over the long term.
A key part of supporting that flourishing is embracing the audit technology, digital tools and intelligent efficiencies shaping the profession, including the thoughtful, safe and purposeful use of automation and AI. Your work will help teams work smarter, give clients greater clarity and quality, and ensure our audit processes continue to evolve in ways that are sustainable and future fit.

Enough About Us, Here’s What You’ll Get to Do Sitting at the heart of our largest team, you’ll work closely with:
- The Audit Leadership team, shaping how the team uses systems, learns and delivers
- The IT Team, ensuring tools, workflows and automation align and function effectively
- The People Team, formalising structured training, onboarding and digital capability building
This role has no client portfolio. Your impact is in shaping how our 50-person audit team works, learns and uses technology to deliver high-quality, efficient audits.
Lead the Technology and Training Agenda what this looks like:
- Optimising and embedding our core systems: CaseWare Cloud, CCH, Trullion, MS Dynamics workflows, iManage and Microsoft 365
- Designing digital best practice: workflows, templates, guidance and training resources
- Delivering structured training and onboarding across all levels
- Strengthening digital confidence across the department
- Supporting the safe, practical rollout of audit technology, automation and AI-enabled processes
- Testing, refining and championing opportunities for smarter, more efficient working
- Acting as the link between Audit, IT, People and external software vendors
- Ensuring our digital infrastructure supports high-quality, scalable audit delivery
This is fundamentally a systems, optimisation and training role, not a client-delivery position.
Who Will Thrive in This Role You’ll likely be currently in an audit role, working at either Assistant Manager, Manager or Senior Manager level, qualified ACA or ACCA, and bringing the technical grounding and credibility that comes from several years in an accountancy practice. More importantly, you’re the person who:

Additional Information Salary: £63,000 to £72,000 (full time) Hours: Open to part time at 21 hours (3 days) per week, or full time at 35 hours (5 days) per week Location: Hybrid At three days per week, your focus will be on core systems optimisation, audit technology and technical training. At five days per week, the role would expand to include additional training delivery and support for quality and methodology initiatives.
