About the role: As a QA Engineer at GoodFit, you’ll be key to ensuring the quality and reliability of every product release. We’re looking for someone who can create robust test plans, carry out thorough feature testing, and help establish automated testing practices that scale with our fast-growing product. Your work will give the team confidence to move quickly while delivering a consistently excellent user experience.
You will:
- Partner with product managers and engineers early in the development cycle to understand requirements and define comprehensive test plans for new features
- Design, document, and execute manual test cases to validate functionality, usability, and edge cases
- Set up and maintain automated testing frameworks to increase test coverage and reduce manual effort over time
- Identify, document, and track defects, collaborating with developers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
- Establish QA best practices and integrate them into the team’s development and deployment workflows
- Work closely with engineers to ensure automated tests are part of the CI/CD pipeline, enabling fast and reliable releases
- Proactively suggest improvements to product quality, processes, and testing tools
- Contribute to building a culture where quality is owned by everyone in the team
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance or related roles
- A proven track record of creating and executing detailed test plans for complex product features
- Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated tests (e.g., using tools like Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or similar)
- Familiarity with CI/CD systems and integrating automated testing into build pipelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for edge cases and user experience issues
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills—you work well with engineers, PMs, and designers in a cross-functional environment
- Comfort working in a fast-moving SaaS or startup environment where priorities can shift quickly
- A self-starter mindset—able to establish QA processes and raise the bar for quality with minimal direction
Bonus: Experience with API testing, performance testing, or testing products with complex data flows.
