Today most companies are reliant on their sales reps to find leads. The challenge? Reps struggle to find great prospects. Worse, they waste huge amounts of time disqualifying leads they can't sell to. This is a poor experience for reps, inefficient use of their skills and sunk cost for the business. GoodFit helps companies identify their leads programmatically and build a dataset based on their unique requirements. We only source the accounts that meet the company's qualification criteria and enrich them with the most useful data points. With the company's market mapped, they can more efficiently distribute & prioritise leads, while delivering compelling messaging based on their prospect's needs.
We're looking for a Senior Operations Associate to help build the operational foundations of a fast-growing tech startup. With the team set to triple in size over the next 12 months, this role is critical to enabling our next phase of growth. This is a hands-on, high-impact role spanning People, Finance, Legal, and special projects. You'll balance day-to-day execution with designing and improving scalable systems and processes, operating comfortably across both administrative and strategic work. This is a senior individual contributor role with broad scope and high visibility. You'll work autonomously and with strong judgement, partnering closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership to build and scale the business.
What you'll do
- People Operations & Employee Experience
- Execute core people operations (onboarding/offboarding, payroll, HRIS, contracts) and partner with the Head of Ops to shape and scale processes as the company grows
- Ensure a high-quality, consistent employee experience by identifying gaps and improving workflows
- Lead the delivery of key culture initiatives, including benefits, quarterly offsites, and team engagement, ensuring values are embedded day to day
- Finance Operations
- Execute and continuously improve AP/AR and core finance workflows, partnering with the Head of Ops on scalable processes
- Support budget creation and tracking and manage day-to-day relationships with external accountants
- Legal & Compliance
- Support commercial teams by executing and improving legal processes (NDAs, T&Cs, contract coordination)
- Partner cross-functionally on data protection, SOC 2, and ESG initiatives to ensure operational readiness
- Company Operations
- Act as a generalist operator, taking ownership of high-impact operational projects across the business
- Be the point of contact for the office and ensure smooth day-to-day operations (we're in a managed office, so this is light touch – watering plants, stocking snacks)
What Success Looks Like
- Foundational people and finance systems are designed, implemented and that can support a team 3× larger than today
- The team and wider organisation are operationally enabled for the next phase of growth, with scalable processes, clear ownership, and minimal friction as headcount increases over the next 12 months
- A trusted, autonomous operator who reliably drives execution end-to-end, spots issues early, and takes ownership of outcomes while partnering closely with the Head of Operations
- Leaders and teams are unblocked and focused on their goals, confident that core operational workstreams are handled with rigour, judgement, and care
Ideal Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in a hands-on role within operations, people operations, business operations, finance administration, legal operations (e.g. paralegal), or a similar function
- Experience may come from a specialist or generalist background; what matters most is strong execution and the ability to apply skills across new operational areas
- Startup or fast-growing company experience is essential; experience in a tech startup is strongly preferred
- Demonstrated comfort working in environments with limited structure, where you've helped build, improve, or scale processes rather than simply follow them
- Experience working closely with founders, senior leaders, or a Head of Operations, with exposure to cross-functional collaboration and operational problem-solving
Why join us
- Work closely with a leadership team who've built and scaled multiple revenue teams to $100M+ ARR (you'll learn more in 12 months than most do in 5 years)
- Quarterly off-sites in London and annual company offsite
- Top-tier equipment & Shoreditch HQ
- Private healthcare insurance
- Gym access, monthly team events & more
Recruitment Process
- Introductory call with the hiring team: mutual intro's and overview of the role, experience, motivation, and role alignment (1 hour)
- Take-home task review interview: presentation and discussion of the approach (1 hour)
- Team meet-and-greet: informal conversation with future team-mates (30 mins)
