The Product Manager CRM Portfolio & Technical Services owns the definition, optimization, and online performance of Goodfellow’s services and technical solution offers, including CRMs, material testing, and micro‑machining. The role is accountable for translating complex technical capabilities into scalable, structured, and commercially effective product offers aligned to the Group’s Global strategy. This role requires a strong technical background and acts as the critical bridge between technical delivery, catalogue structure, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the commercial performance of assigned product ranges.
- Own and lead structured range reviews, including range optimisation, extension, and rationalisation decisions.
- Develop and execute catalogue strategy aligned to market demand, customer needs, and growth priorities.
- Own the structure, scope, and performance of service and technical solution ranges.
- Lead service range reviews, optimisation, and standardisation to improve scalability and clarity.
- Define service offers, options, and positioning in collaboration with Technical Solutions and Operations.
- Analyse service performance, demand patterns, and enquiry data to inform range evolution.
- Ensure service offers are clearly defined, structured, and discoverable online.
- Own online effectiveness of services, including content clarity, application definition, and conversion.
- Work closely with the Technical Science Writer to ensure technical accuracy and clarity.
- Own SEO and PPC performance for CRMs, services and technical solution offers.
- Ensure they are discoverable and correctly positioned for target applications.
- Use performance data to refine service positioning and digital execution.
- Act as the product owner for services, working deeply with entities in the Group.
- Translate technical capability into repeatable, commercial product structures.
- Provide technical input into pricing logic, go‑to‑market strategy, and content development.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in a technically‑led product management or solutions role.
- Strong technical background required (materials science, engineering, physics, chemistry, or equivalent experience).
- Ability to work credibly with technical teams and understand service delivery constraints.
- Experience structuring and commercialising complex or bespoke technical offers.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
