The Burn, the College's historic Scottish country estate, is looking for two Food and Beverage Assistants to join its busy and friendly team in delivering the best experience for guests staying in The Burn's 20‑bedroom Mansion House.

Location: The Burn, Glenesk, Brechin, Angus. DD9 7YP

Pay: Hourly pay at National Living Wage rate

Hours of work: To suit the business

Responsibilities:

  • Assist front of house and kitchen teams setting up breakfast and lunch service.
  • Serve food and drinks to guests and diners, welcoming them and greeting guests.
  • Help with pot wash and general kitchen duties during service.
  • Set up for service on weekdays and may be required for evening and weekend shifts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working area in line with food safety rules.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred knowledge of food safety, though training will be provided.
  • Ability to work in a customer‑facing, sleeves‑rolled‑up role.
  • Right to work in the United Kingdom – evidence must be provided.
