Good Tuesday is a design-led stationery brand and a certified B Corp. We create beautiful tools to help people plan their time with purpose. We believe good planning creates space for what really matters. We have all the makings of an iconic brand — impactful products, a loyal community, and a strong sense of purpose. We’re growing fast, and we’re looking for curious, kind, and capable people who want to help grow a company that uses business as a force for good — and have fun doing it.
As Junior Buyer & Merchandiser, you’ll be responsible for making sure we have the right stock, in the right place, at the right time — and at the right margin. You’ll analyse sales and stock data by channel (ecommerce, wholesale, marketplaces), forecast demand, raise purchase orders, and maintain supplier relationships. You’ll also support our commercial performance by working within budgets, planning around cashflow, and contributing to gross margin and P&L targets. This is a commercially-focused role, ideal for someone who’s comfortable in spreadsheets, methodical in planning, and confident bringing insights to the table.
Key Responsibilities- Forecasting & Merchandising
- Analyse sales data across channels (eCommerce, Marketplaces, wholesale) to forecast demand and stock needs
- Interpret trends in performance and make data-led reorder recommendations
- Create and maintain channel-specific forecasting models
- Monitor sell-through and stock health across the full product range
- Prepare weekly and monthly performance reports for internal use
- Buying Admin & Supplier Management
- Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy of pricing, MOQs and lead times
- Liaise with suppliers to request quotes, confirm availability, and track deliveries
- Maintain product records and ensure internal systems reflect accurate data
- Support product costing, cashflow alignment, and intake planning
- Proactively flag risks to stock availability, delivery timing, or overspend
- Critical Path & Planning
- Help maintain the product critical path, ensuring key dates are met
- Communicate clearly with the operations, marketing and finance teams around upcoming launches and deliveries
- Track dependencies and report any delays or risks
2+ years’ experience in a merchandising, demand planning, or commercial buying role. Strong Excel / Google Sheets skills – comfortable working with formulas, pivot tables, and reports. Confident drawing out insights from data. Clear communicator who can manage multiple suppliers and timelines. Proactive and organised – able to juggle priorities and stay on top of the detail. Familiarity with both ecommerce and wholesale channels is desirable. Experience in a product-based business (stationery, homeware, gifts, fashion or FMCG). Highly numerate and commercially aware, with an eye on margin.
You’ll Thrive Here If You…- Love a challenge – you enjoy figuring things out and solving complex puzzles with data
- Are commercially minded – you think about margin, stock turn, and overall business performance
- Are detail-obsessed – you believe the numbers should always tell the story
- Are methodical – you love a system and know how to build one if it doesn’t exist
- Communicate clearly – you can translate numbers into plans and actions
- Are both independent and collaborative – you take initiative and also value being part of a team
- Keep calm under pressure – you don’t get flustered when a delivery moves or a forecast shifts
- Are pragmatic – you balance ambition with reality and work towards impact
- Are aligned with our values – you are kind, honest, humble, curious, and care about people and planet
