Opportunity

The Senior Finance Executive takes full ownership of the full set of accounts and plays a critical role in ensuring financial accuracy, statutory compliance and business profitability. Reporting directly to the Senior Regional Finance & Ops Manager, this role balances meticulous day‑to‑day accounting with strategic business partnering and process optimisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full Set Management – Assume complete ownership of the full set of accounts, ensuring all financial data is processed with the highest level of integrity.
  • Transactional Accuracy – Perform day‑to‑day accounting activities, including data entry, to ensure all transactions are updated completely and accurately on a timely basis.
  • Month‑End & Year‑End Closing – Lead the month‑end closing process, including the preparation of financial reports and presentations for management review.
  • Audit Leadership – Act as the primary lead for year‑end audits, coordinating with auditors to ensure a seamless and successful audit cycle.
  • Accounts Payable, Receivable & Treasury – Oversee the end‑to‑end processing of all invoices, expense claims and payment requests; monitor and manage accounts receivable to ensure prompt collections; prepare monthly bank reconciliations for accurate cash‑flow tracking.
  • Reconciliation & Inventory Control – Conduct monthly sales reconciliations for e‑commerce platforms; perform monthly reconciliations of inventory reports and collaborate with the operations team for year‑end stock‑take exercises.
  • Statutory Compliance & Taxation – Ensure all statutory compliance requirements are met, including timely and accurate submission of quarterly GST filings; maintain a systematic filing system for all accounting documents.
  • Business Partnering & Process Improvement – Act as a finance business partner to commercial stakeholders, providing financial insights and analysis to drive and protect business profitability; proactively identify opportunities to streamline work processes, aiming to achieve significant time and cost savings.
  • Other Duties – Provide support to the Senior Regional Finance & Ops Manager on strategic initiatives and execute any other tasks or special assignments as required by management.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or above in Finance, Accounting or any related course.
  • At least 3 years’ experience in full set of accounts.
  • Expertise in QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Proficiency in quarterly GST computation and submission and yearly tax computation.
  • Experience leading the annual external audit and stocktake.
  • Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
