The Opportunity
As an Events Assistant, you will be reporting to the Marketing & Events Executive and be responsible for coordinating and implementing marketing strategies and organizing events to support the company's marketing goals. You will collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop effective campaigns and ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives. In this role, you’ll get to:
- Plan and execute on‑ground activations and events, such as consumer fairs, booth pop‑ups, atriums, and sampling activations across various channels.
- Management and preparation of events logistics.
- Coordinate and manage part‑time manpower for event support.
- Collaborate with designers to produce marketing collaterals such as posters, backdrops, and banners.
- Liaise with agencies, printers, and external vendors to ensure timely project timelines are met.
- Any other ad‑hoc duties assigned.
What you’ll need to succeed:
- Higher Nitec or Diploma in Business / Events Management and / or Marketing.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a marketing / events / retail position.
- Good sense of SG marketing commercial awareness.
- Great working attitude and interpersonal skills.
- Creative and detail-oriented.
- Able to work both ways as a team and independently as required.
