We’re looking for a Team Leader to join our brilliant care team in Glasgow South working around East Renfrewshire, to provide support to your team of home carers to ensure the highest level of care is consistently provided to all our clients. We work hard to develop care roles into a rewarding career that people can progress in; we offer salaried and flexible contracts, paid mileage and career progression through funded diplomas.
What will you do?
- Team leadership to support your care team including regular supervisions, spot-checks, performance management and auditing.
- Ensuring all clients are provided quality care that is respectful, dignified and encourages independence whilst adhering to the support plan.
- Manage team morale, problem solve and resolve issues and/or escalate to the office.
- Organise meetings, review and events for your team.
- Support the other Team Leaders, new starters, office team and Branch Manager.
- Provide care to your own clients and set the highest example to your team.
- Ensure regular communications are happening, deliver reports and reviews.
Who are you?
- You’re a caring individual with a good work ethic and previous care experience.
- Ideally you have some leadership experience or a strong desire to progress now.
- You have excellent people and communication skills including in writing.
- You’re able to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively so you can best support your team.
- You can demonstrate professionalism and can treat people with respect.
- You’re reliable and trustworthy and can maintain confidentiality of carer and client information.
- You’re willing to undertake a DBS check to be able to work with vulnerable adults.
- You have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work.
What do we offer?
- £15 an hour plus 45p mileage.
- 30 hours per week plus extra for an on-call or overtime work completed.
