Our client is a fast-growing global fintech solving unique problems in the finance industry. This is an opportunity to join a company in an exciting phase of growth and evolution, offering a rare opportunity to shape its brand, influence creative direction, and help define how it shows up on a global stage. You’ll join a small team of industry-leading design professionals who have worked at companies such as Meta and Google.

Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Brand Designer to push our fintech brand identity to the next level. You’ll turn creative direction into real-world assets and experiences that feel consistent, engaging and memorable across every touchpoint - with a high bar for creative excellence and a strong design point of view. As a senior individual contributor, you’ll lead projects end-to-end, partner closely with Brand, Marketing and Product - helping to evolve design systems and patterns. This role is based in London, UK, in a hybrid work environment requiring being in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design execution across key surfaces including social, web, CRM, campaigns, presentations, events and physical activations.
  • Work closely with the head of brand to translate strategy and creative direction into concept-driven, high-quality design that communicates complex ideas clearly.
  • Design with multi-platform support in mind, ensuring brand expression scales across channels, formats and devices while staying premium and consistent.
  • Evolve and refine the visual identity system - creating templates, guidelines and reusable assets that help the team move fast without losing quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners like Product, Marketing, Sales and other Design teams to ensure brand consistency at every touchpoint.
  • Contribute to creative briefs and kick-offs, helping define goals, audiences, constraints, and how we’ll measure success.
  • Maintain a high bar for craft through feedback, critique and hands-on iteration - raising quality through example.
  • Support and mentor more junior designers through guidance, feedback and practical craft coaching.

You will have:

  • 6+ years of relevant professional experience in brand and communication design, with a portfolio showing exceptional craft and taste.
  • Experience in-house at a startup/fast-paced organisation, or in an agency/studio background. We value designers who can adapt across environments.
  • Strong understanding of typography, identity systems, composition and art direction - with the ability to execute across mediums.
  • Experience creating and maintaining scalable brand systems that support consistent execution.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills - able to explain design decisions clearly to team peers and partners.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ideally, some experience in fintech or financial services (or similarly complex/regulated domains), with the ability to simplify complex narratives into clear brand expression.

Benefits:

  • Pension scheme (5% employee, 7% employer contribution)
  • 26 days of holiday
  • Professional development budget
  • Eye test vouchers
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Comprehensive private healthcare
  • Employee Assistance Programme
