About The Client

Our client is a fast-growing global fintech company solving unique problems in the finance industry.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a highly experienced Senior/Staff Product Designer with a track record of creating world‑class digital experiences. Using your design expertise, you’ll translate bold ideas into intuitive, user‑centred products that simplify complexity at scale. In this role, you’ll lead design for our Hedge team, shaping end‑to‑end FX workflows that balance clarity, compliance and business impact. You’ll enjoy wide autonomy and ownership, working across Product, Engineering, Data and Financial managers to craft elegant solutions and define the future of our hedge management and hedging platform. You’ll play a key role in setting product direction, evolving our design practices, and ensuring the voice of the customer drives decision making. This role is based in London, UK, in a hybrid work environment requiring being in‑office four days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end experience for Hedge products for both internal and external users, from prioritisation and concept through detailed design and launch.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Data and Financial managers to translate strategy into actionable design, identifying high-impact problems and driving alignment on priorities.
  • Simplify complex, ambiguous systems with a user-first, systems-thinking approach, balancing customer needs, business goals and technical constraints.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions to align stakeholders around a shared vision and clear decisions.
  • Craft elegant, intuitive solutions for complex tasks, ensuring clarity, consistency and high-quality interactions across platforms.
  • Contribute to and extend our design system, improving reusable patterns that help teams ship faster with consistency.
  • Prototype, test and iterate quickly using research and data, refining solutions based on user insights and outcomes.
  • Shape long-term direction and design culture through critiques, workshops and reviews – raising the quality bar across the team.

You Will Have

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience within UX or Product Design.
  • A portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft and product intuition, with strong expertise in layout, typography, hierarchy and interaction design.
  • Experience shipping impactful work end-to-end, with strong product judgement and comfort operating in ambiguity.
  • Experience as an influential designer who ships impactful, strategic work.
  • A strong design point of view and the ability to balance customer needs with business goals and technical constraints.
  • Proven leadership and collaboration skills across design, product and engineering disciplines, with the ability to align stakeholders and move work forward.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and communicate effectively across diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance and prioritise multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience designing for financial services, fintech or enterprise software, with a proven ability to turn complex, data-heavy workflows.

Benefits

  • Pension scheme (5% employee, 7% employer contribution)
  • 26 days of holiday

  • Eye test vouchers
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Comprehensive private healthcare
