We're looking for an experienced content designer to set the bar for brand and marketing content for a global fintech company. Our client is a fast-growing global fintech company solving unique problems in the finance industry. This is an opportunity to join a company in an exciting phase of growth and evolution, offering a rare opportunity to shape its brand, influence creative direction, and help define how it shows up on a global stage. You’ll join a small team of industry-leading design professionals who have worked at companies such as Meta and Google.

Role Overview: You’ll shape how we show up in the world through clear, confident storytelling—turning complex concepts into messaging that feels simple, premium and consistent across every external touchpoint. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone with strong writing craft, sharp judgement and a clear urge to push things forward. You’ll own projects end-to-end, partner closely with Brand and Marketing and work with Product, Web, Research and Data when needed to ensure our content is grounded in customer insight and delivers measurable impact across channels. This role is based in London, UK, in a hybrid work environment requiring being in-office 4 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Own brand and marketing copy across key surfaces including website pages, landing pages, CRM and lifecycle, campaigns, social, presentations, events and customer stories.
  • Translate positioning and strategy into messaging frameworks, narratives and on-brand copy that makes complex topics feel clear and compelling.
  • Write and refine copy for end-to-end marketing journeys that educate, build trust and drive action across our owned channels.
  • Partner closely with Brand and Marketing to develop creative briefs, define goals, audiences and constraints and align on how we’ll measure success.
  • Work with Web and Design teams to ensure content and layout work together and that the final experience feels cohesive across formats and channels.
  • Use research and data to iterate, test hypotheses and improve content based on learnings and outcomes.
  • Help define and maintain tone of voice guidelines, messaging principles and reusable copy patterns that keep our writing consistent as we scale.
  • Contribute to creative culture through critique, workshops and reviews—raising the quality bar across the team.

You Will Have:

  • 7+ years of relevant professional experience in content design, copywriting or brand writing, with a portfolio showing exceptional writing craft and taste.
  • Experience in-house at a startup or fast‑paced organisation, or in an agency or studio background. We value writers who can adapt across environments.
  • Proven ability to turn complex topics into clear messaging, with strong judgement on hierarchy, clarity and tone.
  • Experience developing messaging frameworks and narratives.
  • Strong collaboration skills across Brand, Marketing and Design, with the ability to align stakeholders and move work forward.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple workstreams without losing attention to detail.
  • Ideally, some experience in fintech or financial services (or similarly complex or regulated domains), with an interest in simplifying complex ideas through language.

Benefits:

  • Pension scheme (5% employee, 7% employer contribution)
  • 26 days of holiday
  • Professional development budget
  • Eye test vouchers
  • Cycle to work scheme
  • Comprehensive private healthcare
  • Employee Assistance Programme
