This role will be based in our London office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.
The role entails overseeing and executing global strategies for performance marketing channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, SEO, and Display for a maternity cover role within ghd's global team. The individual will lead these channels, working with senior stakeholders and local markets to ensure understanding, alignment, and execution of strategies to meet brand and revenue objectives. This position is a 12‑Month FTC.
JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the global strategy for all performance channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Affiliates, SEO, and Display.
- Serve as the accountable channel leader, presenting to and collaborating with senior stakeholders and local markets to align and implement global performance strategies and digital media planning.
- Work closely with the Global Brand Director to enhance Paid efforts through a blend of engaging assets and executional excellence.
- Execute a KPI framework for each channel (including AI and Amazon) to be adopted as a global standard across all markets.
- Execute a global testing framework, ensuring local markets are optimising channels.
- Manage relationships with global agencies (Awin, Twentysix, Intelligent Reach) to maintain high‑value, KPI focused and cost‑effective partnerships.
- Collaborate with the Data Analytics team to streamline and improve global performance marketing reporting, ensuring access to relevant and insightful data.
- Conduct regular global analyses with actionable recommendations to support local optimisations.
- Drive performance marketing initiatives to support CRM database growth.
- Lead direct reports to ensure high performance, motivation and excellence.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential
- At least 5‑10 years digital marketing experience in a retail and e‑commerce environment.
- Strong understanding and experience of digital media planning, buying process and best practice.
- Experience with reporting and analysing KPIs across digital channels.
- Experience in driving growth in SEO, implementing on‑site and off‑site strategies and best practice.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across other business departments (local markets, brand, .com).
- Experience with third‑party platforms i.e. Google, Meta & Tiktok Business Manager.
- Highly proactive with ability and skillset to drive channel improvements.
Desirable
- Good technical understanding of tracking tags and product feed management.
- Strong hands‑on experience working with Affiliate networks (AWIN preferably), publishers and third‑party partners as well as optimising Affiliate programmes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a forensic understanding of.
