LOCATION: This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

ABOUT THIS ROLE: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Manager to join our eCommerce Development Team. The team consists of Quality Assurance (QA) analysts, Business Analysts (BAs), and Developers, working collaboratively to deliver cutting-edge eCommerce solutions. The Project Manager will support the planning, execution, and delivery of eCommerce projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of eCommerce platforms, and a proven track record of successfully managing cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Project Planning and Execution
  • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders and the eCommerce team.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Ensure clear communication between team members and stakeholders to maintain alignment.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations and negotiate project priorities when necessary.
  • Risk and Issue Management
    • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to ensure successful delivery.
    • Resolve issues promptly, escalating to senior management when required.
  • Budget and Resource Management
    • Monitor project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and resources are allocated efficiently.
    • Collaborate with team leads to optimise resource utilisation across QA, BA, and development roles.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Drive process improvements within the team to enhance efficiency and delivery quality.
    • Stay updated on eCommerce trends, technologies, and best practices to inform project strategies.

    • Plan and execute seasonal performance testing.
    • Proactively manage risks and issues.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Analytical-thinking and problem-solving capabilities who can collaborate with the wider teams across Digital, PMO and IT.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to manage diverse stakeholders and team members.
    • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
    • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
    • Practical experience in successfully delivering IT projects from inception to delivery.
    • Experience of defining and documenting processes, identifying gaps and proposing improvements in line with business strategy.
    • Experienced in sustaining strong working relationships with business stakeholders and the Development Team.
    • Enthusiastic and flexible with a pragmatic, hands-on approach, with the ability to understand the bigger picture.
