LOCATION This role will be based in our Leeds office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.

ABOUT THIS ROLE The role drives delivery of the development roadmap and the adoption & execution of ecommerce development features, to further the growth & evolution of ghdhair.com. Acting as the bridge between the Global Ecommerce team and the Digital Operations Development team, this role contributes to multiple stages of the development lifecycle. Providing technical support to Global and Local ecommerce teams as the Platform Super User and owner of best-in-class website management guidance.

JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Work with the Global Director of Ecommerce & Performance and the Global Director of Digital Development & Operations to manage the development roadmap in line with business-prioritised development enhancements.
  • Collaborate with the Global Technical Delivery Manager & Development team to deliver prioritised development features to ghdhair.com, in line with key delivery dates.
  • Product Ownership of development enhancement items through story writing, story approval, requirements analysis, testing and release management.
  • Represent the Global & Local Ecommerce business users when briefing and working on new website features with the Development team - both in practical implementation within the CMS and the onsite journey to support efficiency, revenue targets and UX.
  • Hand over new ecommerce development features to the Global & Local Ecommerce teams, through process documentation and CMS training.
  • ghdhair.com CMS/Platform 'Super User' and owner of the global CCV2 guidance & how-to documentation used by Global & Local ecommerce teams, detailing all required website management tasks and best practice management.
  • Lead technical trouble shooting with CMS/Platform or selected 3rd Party Integrations to support Global & Local Ecommerce teams and ensure the smooth, best-in-class operation of ghdhair.com.
  • Work cross-functionality with the Studio, Brand, Education, IT, wider Ecommerce team and any additional internal stakeholders to successfully deliver new development enhancements to ghdhair.com.
  • Collaborate with the Digital Performance team to optimise the onsite content & structural aspects of the website to improve SEO performance.
  • Lead the relationship with 3rd party agency Zoovu, responsible for the development, enhancement and local roll out of the ghdhair.com Hair Quiz.
  • Create a culture of collaboration and agility, with a relentless focus on the customer, data and innovation to deliver and continually optimise a brilliant online experience.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

  • 2+ years' experience working with ecommerce CMS platforms to build & execute marketing campaigns, new product launches and key promotional strategies to deliver financial targets & support brand activity.
  • Supported the strategy and delivery of CMS replatform projects, assisting Product Owners in scoping business requirements, technical CMS support, QA testing and content migration.
  • Advanced capability working within a Global capacity, supporting and collaborating with multiple international teams daily.
  • Proactive and involved partner with internal stakeholders and business users to support the smooth running and optimization of ghdhair.com.
  • Supporting cross-functional team objectives, acting as a key member of the global capability hub.
  • A talent for coaching and knowledge transfer, leading internal CMS training processes for global & regional ecommerce team members.
  • Collaborate effectively with external business partners to scope, define, test and deploy development tasks to ghdhair.com, to continuously evolve the website as ghd's flagship store.
  • Proficient understanding of core SEO principles.
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communicator, presenting to senior members of leadership team when required.
  • Ability to work under pressure within deadlines.
  • Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
  • Intuitive, ability to prioritize tasks and manage own time effectively.
  • Knowledge of beauty, fashion and premium brand behaviour.
  • Innovative and analytical thinker, solution-driven approach.
  • A Bachelors Degree in marketing, communications or related field.
