Why apply? Lead high-impact projects, collaborate with world-class experts, and play a key role in driving digital innovation for global brands.

Why this role matters: As a Client Engagement Director, you’ll own the success and growth of some of our most important client partnerships. Your job is to make sure clients see real, undeniable value from working with Good Growth - and that those relationships grow sustainably over time. You’ll work across a portfolio of client accounts, guiding them from post-discovery into delivery and long-term partnership. You’ll balance commercial focus with strong relationship stewardship, ensuring our work delivers outcomes that matter to clients and drives Net Revenue Retention for the business.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering commercial impact: You’ll be accountable for the commercial health of your client portfolio - converting opportunities, securing delivery, and growing accounts through extension and expansion. Your focus is on ensuring clients consistently receive clear, measurable value.
  • Client relationships: You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their objectives, pressures, and industry context. You’ll proactively manage risk, maintain relationship warmth, and prevent churn.
  • Commercial ownership: You’ll own the commercial process end-to-end - shaping briefs, designing solutions, leading contracting, and onboarding clients into delivery squads with clarity and intent.
  • Internal collaboration: You’ll act as the bridge between commercial conversations and delivery reality, working closely with Delivery, Technology, and Data teams to translate client needs into clear priorities and constraints.
  • Demonstrating value: You’ll lead ideation for demos and new opportunities, working with our technical teams to clearly communicate the Good Growth proposition and the impact we can deliver.
  • Reporting & forecasting: You’ll be responsible for accurate reporting on pipeline, conversion, and customer health, helping the wider business plan resourcing and scale effectively.

About You

You don’t need to tick every box, but we’re looking for someone who brings most of the following:

  • Essential: 5+ years’ experience in account management or senior client-facing roles (agency, SaaS, or similar)
  • Strong commercial instincts and negotiation skills
  • Confidence building relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • A collaborative mindset and high emotional intelligence
  • Willingness to travel to client sites (domestic and international) and attend team sessions in Exeter or Birmingham

Nice to have:

  • Experience working with enterprise clients or complex stakeholder environments
  • Knowledge of organisations operating in the US market
  • Familiarity with digital analytics, experimentation, or CRO
  • High autonomy and comfort making decisions in ambiguous situations
