👥 Role: Analytical Manager (Analytics & Experimentation)
📍 Location: Exeter or Birmingham (hybrid working)
💰 Salary: up to £35,000 (dependent on experience)
🕒 Working hours: Flexible, with some office time expected
🎯 Why apply?: Work on high-impact projects, collaborate with world-class experts, and play a key role in driving digital innovation for leading brands.
At Good Growth, we help businesses innovate online without being slowed down by outdated technology. Many large companies rely on legacy systems - where others see a limitation, we see an opportunity.
Our mission is to tear down barriers to growth, helping brands move fast, innovate boldly, and optimise their digital experiences. We combine extraordinary technology with world-class data and insight to deliver results that redefine what’s possible in digital commerce.
You’ll own the analytical contribution to your accounts. You’ll combine performance analytics, customer insight and experimentation to drive measurable improvements, and frame everything you share around what it means for the client’s business.
You’ll ensure our analytical work is accurate, robust and clearly communicated. This includes working across platforms like Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, extracting and processing data, and using visualisation tools to bring insights to life.
By blending quantitative and qualitative data, you’ll uncover the root causes of customer frustration and failure online, shaping experimentation programmes that improve experience and performance.
You’ll apply the scientific method to A/B testing and CRO. That runs from building data-led hypotheses and designing robust tests through to analysing results and recommending clear next steps. Every test teaches us something, so you’ll capture learnings from wins and misses alike
You’ll be the go-to analytical contact for your squads. You’ll also review and challenge the work of junior colleagues, helping them build confidence and good analytical habits.
You’ll keep up with digital, analytics and experimentation trends. You’ll share what you learn, including what our experiments teach us, so the whole team keeps raising the bar.
Energetic
You're curious about our clients' businesses and what's driving their performance. You actively question what you see in the data, challenge assumptions and look for opportunities to improve outcomes. You enjoy problem-solving and exploring new hypotheses, sharing your thinking with your squad and helping others see opportunities they might have missed. You're aware of our shared goals and bring energy to moving work forward, both within Decide and across the squad.
Empathetic
You recognise that behind every dataset or question is a person who needs to make a decision. You take the time to understand our clients' objectives, pressures and constraints, adapting how you communicate to make your analysis clear and useful. You demonstrate respect for colleagues when challenging assumptions or discussing findings, listen openly and collaborate across the squad to reach the best possible outcome. You recognise that great analysis only creates value when people understand it and can act on it.
Effectiveness
You focus on answering the right questions, not just producing more analysis. You take ownership of your work, balancing analytical rigour with the need to reach decisions quickly. You turn findings into clear, commercially relevant recommendations. You manage your workload to deliver high-quality outputs on time, proactively sharing progress or escalating issues when needed. You're always looking for faster and better ways to work, ensuring your analysis helps squads and clients make informed decisions to improve business outcomes.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with sound judgement when data is messy or incomplete
Excellent communication and presentation skills, including confidence presenting to clients
The ability to manage several pieces of work at pace without losing rigour
Willingness to travel to client sites and attend team workshops in Exeter or internationally.
Exposure to A/B testing and CRO tools (e.g. Optimizely, Adobe Target, VWO)
