We’re looking for a highly motivated Trainee Solar Installer to join our fast-growing team.
In this role, you’ll be learning the skills needed to support high-quality Solar PV installations for both commercial and residential properties.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to start a hands-on career in the renewable energy sector. With a large number of installations completed each year, you\’ll gain valuable experience and grow alongside a supportive, experienced team.
As this is a physical, outdoor role, we’re looking for individuals who are hardworking, eager to learn, and ready to work in all weather conditions—often at heights. A background or interest in construction, roofing, or solar is a bonus but not essential.
Responsibilities:
- Help keep the work site clean, tidy, and organised
- Assist with unloading deliveries and moving materials
- Carry out general labouring and support tasks as needed
- Show initiative and a willingness to learn on the job
- Work well with others and communicate clearly
- Be reliable and punctual, completing tasks with care
- Stay focused and organised in your approach
- Use basic literacy and numeracy skills in daily tasks
- Meet the physical demands of outdoor and rooftop work

What you\’ll need to succeed
We’re looking for a confident and enthusiastic individual ready to start their journey as a Trainee Solar Installer. If you enjoy working with your hands, being part of a team, and aren’t afraid of heights or physical work, this could be the perfect role for you.
You don’t need previous experience in Solar PV or Roofing—just a great attitude and the drive to learn. We’ll support you every step of the way as you develop your skills and build a solid foundation for a career in renewable energy.
While a CSCS card is helpful, we’ll support you in getting certified if you don’t have one. You’ll need a full driver’s license and access to your own transport, as you’ll be travelling to different work sites.
