We are hiring a Maintenance & Servicing Electrician at Good Energy to support customers with solar panels and EV charging systems across the UK. The role involves travelling, onsite work, and ensuring installations meet quality and safety standards. This role may require up to 50% of your time to be spent on the road, including overnight stays. Travel and accommodation costs are covered, with an additional £50 per night away bonus and a £25 daily food allowance.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Service EV charging points, solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
  • Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
  • Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
  • Travel to various UK sites.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience in maintenance and servicing as an electrician.
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided.
