We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, experienced and highly motivated Electrician to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of solar panel servicing, EV charging points servicing as well as inspection, testing, fault finding and remedial work on both commercial and domestic properties.

With excellent communication skills, you will collaborate closely with the office team; able to manage your own workload, communicate effectively with suppliers and act as key point of contact for customers, ensuring their technical questions are answered. As part of our servicing programme you will ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety.

  • Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
  • Service EV charging points, Solar panels, and perform remedial electrical work as needed.
  • Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
  • Inspect, test, fault find and write up reports following site visits.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
  • Travel to various UK sites, as the majority of your time will be spent on-site.
  • Identify and explain remedial or upgrade requirements to customers, discuss suitable options professionally, and liaise with the sales team where system improvements or additional works are recommended.

Essentials:
  • 18th Edition qualified.
  • NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation.
  • ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
  • Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Strong IT skills.
  • Valid full UK driving licence.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.

Desirables:
  • Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.

Your base of Operations: Office, warehouse, and beyond. Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent. For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Kent, South East area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays. Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday – Friday.
