Junior Project Manager

Description
No day will be the same – here are some of the highlights
- Manage multiple renewable energy projects from initiation to completion.
- Retain strong relationships with client consultancies throughout the project lifecycle.
- Generate project quotes and develop detailed project programs.
- Monitor and measure project performance against key metrics (on time, in budget) using automated reporting.
- Schedule project activities and updates using our CRM system.
- Issue and follow up on invoices to ensure timely payments.
- Coordinate effectively with sub-contractors, site managers, and District Network Operators (DNOs).
- Provide regular updates to clients and present project progress in meetings.
- Assist with fault finding and problem resolution on projects.
- Collaborate with and delegate tasks to two project administrators.
- Work closely with accounts and stock procurement teams.
- Undertake occasional site visits as required.
What you\’ll need to succeed
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook.
- No prior project management experience required, but a strong desire to learn and grow.
- High level of confidence and a proactive, self-starting attitude.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and adapt to new challenges.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Full UK Driving License and access to your own car.
Some understanding or experience with Solar PV or the wider energy industry.
