No day will be the same – here are some of the highlights
- The Feed-in Tariff Operations team – responsible for our customers who’re a part of the Feed-in tariff (FIT) scheme
- Our Feed-in Tariff Account Managers – providing a bespoke and proactive service to our B2B customers with larger portfolios
- The Generator Products team– who’re responsible for transitioning our Feed-in Tariff (FIT) customers with Smart meters to a more accurate way of measuring and paying them for the energy they export and providing a straightforward service to Good Energy’s customers who’re taking advantage of our innovative expert export product.
You’ll be focused on:
- Leading a highly capable team and through strategic leadership, ensuring they’re clear on our plans, the part they play in enabling them and feel engaged with how our actions benefit our customers and the planet
- Maintaining Compliance with the FIT scheme guidance as Generator products and services evolve, whilst ensuring our customers receive accurate and timely payment
- Identifying and driving continuous improvement across our FIT systems and processes, with a focus on data quality, efficiency and great customer outcomes.
- Continuing the transition to Smart Export, where relevant customers (B2C & B2B) with a Smart meter are being accurately paid for the energy they’re exporting
- Through maintaining high service levels, support the scaling of our Solar Savings product for domestic customers and other bespoke products as we bring them to market
- Partnering closely with our Specialist teams to ensure that technical elements of industry changes are understood, leading on the required operational changes to areas sucgh as policy, process, training and communications.
- Being a senior partner to our Product & Propositions team – influencing the creation of products which meet customer needs and are operationally scalable, ensuring new generator products and tariffs are implemented and managed effectively across our Operations teams
- Ongoing proactive resource management – enabling Good Energy’s generator products to scale within the right time frames, whilst maintaining the high levels of service that we’re proud of
- Develop and support a high performing team of leaders, who in turn are developing highly capable and resilient teams
- Deputise for the Head of Customer Operations as required

- Change Management: You are experienced in guiding teams through periods of change and adaptation, whether it\’s due to process improvements, new products or technology implementations
- Process Improvement: You have the capability to assess and optimise operational processes, leading to increased efficiency and productivity.
- Communication Skills: You’re able to cut through complexity and communicate in a straightforward way, enabling you to bring both internal and external relationships on the journey
- Data Analysis: You are able to interpret data and track performance trends to enable you to make data-driven decisions and identify areas to improve and grow
- Team Building and Development: You are experienced in recruiting, coaching and developing team members and leaders, enabling them to perform at their best and fulfil their potential
- Stakeholder Management & collaboration– you can manage stakeholders at all levels within an organisation and feel comfortable engaging with different teams to align thinking, overcome obstacles and deliver what is best for our customers.
- Strong understanding and experience working within the Energy industry
- Experience leading teams responsible for performance across a broad and technical spectrum
- Strong understanding of the Feed-in tariff scheme & Export products
- Growing and managing Export products and/ or the Feed-in tariff scheme.
