We are looking for an ambitious and highly motivated Electrician to join our fast-growing team. As a key member of our installation team, you’ll be responsible for completing a mixture of solar panel installations, EV charging points installations, battery storage as well as general electrical work on residential properties. With your strong communication skills, you’ll collaborate closely with the team to ensure that all installations meet our high standards for quality and safety. You’ll also be the key point of contact for customers, ensuring their questions are answered and they are kept informed throughout the process.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all sites comply with health & safety regulations.
- Install EV charging points, solar panels, battery storage and perform general electrical work as needed.
- Coordinate with the office team regarding materials and logistics for efficient project execution.
- Complete installations, troubleshooting any issues prior to handover to ensure high-quality standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and concerns.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all projects.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures while driving continual improvement in standards.
What you’ll need to succeed

Essentials
- 18th Edition qualified.
- ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.
- Able to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
- Outstanding customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong IT skills.
- Valid full UK driving license.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical abilities.
- Effective time management and organisational skills.

Experience in the solar PV industry is ideal but not essential – full training will be provided on solar and EV charging installations.
Your base of Operations
Our head office is in Chippenham, Wiltshire, with additional offices and warehouses in Lincoln, Ringwood (Hampshire), and Kent. For this role, we’re looking for candidates based in the Kent area. The position will involve some travel, including occasional overnight stays. Our working hours are 40 a week, Monday – Friday.
