You’ll play a key role within our finance team, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of our financial reporting to our UAE-based parent company. Responsibilities:

  • Group reporting packs: Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting packs in line with IFRS and parent company deadlines.
  • Technical accounting: Apply strong technical knowledge to complex group reporting matters and financial policies.
  • Systems & automation: Support the implementation of the new Oracle EPM system and drive continuous automation and enhancements across the function.
  • Cross-team collaboration: Partner closely with the Financial Controller, Financial Accountant, and the wider team to meet internal and external deadlines.
  • International stakeholder management: Liaise with the UAE-based group finance team, responding to queries and providing supporting information.
  • Audit management: Support the year-end audit process, including preparing schedules and responding efficiently to auditor requests.
  • Process & controls oversight: Support the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust financial processes and controls across the group.
  • Statutory accounts: Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts to ensure full compliance.
  • Team development: Support and mentor junior members of the finance team to help grow their capabilities.

What you'll need to succeed:

We’re looking for a fully qualified Group Reporting Accountant with post‑qualification experience in financial reporting, technical accounting, and multi‑entity consolidations. You'll bring a strong understanding of IFRS/FRS 101, an impeccable eye for detail, and a naturally curious mindset that looks past the surface to understand the 'why' behind the numbers. High proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) are essential, as is the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical, international audiences. Our office is based in Chippenham, Wiltshire. For this role, we're looking for candidates who can come in to our Chippenham office, once a week based on location. We offer both formal and informal flexible working options. Full‑time hours are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday.
