We are looking to recruit a Fibre Laser Operator/Semi Skilled Fabricator for a small specialist fabrication company based in Coventry. The salary is £30,420pa doe (£15 p/h) plus profit share, pension, career progression and training. Working Mon-Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Friday 7.30am-12.30pm.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced laser operator and semi-skilled Fabricator for a full-time, permanent role in an established independent engineering firm who specialise in precision sheet metal work, welding, and fabrication for clients across the UK.
Candidate Specification
- Ability to interpret engineering/technical drawings (essential)
- Previous experience working in a Fabrication environment (essential)
- Works well as part of a team as well as independently and on own initiative.
- Demonstrates a positive attitude to work.
- Capable of operating laser machinery (essential)
- Able to operate CNC machine (preferred)
- Ability to operate fabricating machinery inc Press Brake (preferred)
- Folding experience (preferred)
- Ability to use hand tools (essential)
- Able to read and interpret measuring devices (essential)
