With over 50 years of experience, our client prides themselves on supplying high quality machined components to discerning customers. They are now looking to recruit an experienced CNC Turner to join the team. This is a full-time permanent opportunity working Mon-Thursday 7am - 4pm and Friday until 12noon, paying Β£18 p/h doe plus overtime and benefits.
As a CNC Turner you will join a Manufacturing company based in Coventry. This opportunity will suit a candidate with experience setting and operating machines.
Role responsibilities:- The role predominately entails producing components/motorsports parts to drawing tolerance and specifications, efficiently and accurately as required by customer specifications.
- You will be setting and operating various milling machines including Hardinge, Bridgeports, and Doosans on milling and Turning Doosan Pumas.
- The candidate must be experienced and competent at setting, working to tight tolerances.
- You will be working with Heindenhain software for milling and Fanuc software for turning.
- Responsible for ensuring the tools are set up correctly and that the correct tools are used as well as the jigs/fixtures.
- Working as part of the manufacturing team, you will also work closely with the production team.
- Fully skilled milling/turning setting/operating machinist.
- Able to work from engineering drawings independently.
- Fanuc or Heindenhain experience preferred, but not essential.
