Job Description
We are looking for an experienced dynamic and highly motivated Audit Senior to join our client’s growing Audit team at an exciting time of significant growth.
You will be joining a team of passionate experts, specialising in supporting businesses and individuals through every stage of their professional and personal life.
Our client offers a collaborative environment that supports career growth and provides opportunities for continuous development. This role may offer someone who has an eye on moving up to a Manager role at some point.
This permanent opportunity (36.5 hrs pw) offers hybrid (3 days in the office/2 days at home) working mainly from the Coventry office with travel to Leamington. Salary up to £37k doe plus excellent benefits including quarterly bonus schemes, flexi-hours with a 2pm finish every Friday. Enhanced employer pension contribution. Funded CPD courses etc.
Candidate Requirements:
- You will have worked within an accountancy firm during your training and be passionate about using your audit and Accounting skills to support clients.
- Fully qualified ACCA or ACA.
- Be one of the main points of contact for the client
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Ensure exceptional client care standards are maintained
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for clients, providing Audit solutions, proactive planning, and ensuring high-quality customer service.
- Support clients with audit especially within the education and not for profit organisations.
- Preparation of statutory financial statements
- Accomplish department objectives by being a valuable member of an efficient team
- Develop relationships with fellow team members (own team & across practice, including IFA’s)
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure technical problems are solved
- Ensuring audit processes and regulations are adhered to for all assignments
- Technically strong with close attention to detail
- Ensure CPD and technical learning is up to date
