RESPONSIBILITIES
- Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications; conducting visual inspection and measurement tests; rejecting and returning unacceptable materials.
- Approve in-process production first off activities by confirming specifications; conducting visual and measurement tests; communicating required adjustments to production supervisor/operator.
- Conduct visual and measurement tests; return non-compliant materials confirming re-work.
- Document inspection results by completing reports and logs; summarising re-work and waste; inputting data into quality database.
- Keep measurement equipment operating by following operating instructions; calling for repairs.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations.
- Update job knowledge by participating in training/educational opportunities; reading technical publications.
- Accomplish quality and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Adhere to all Company policies, management systems and standard operational procedures, including legal responsibilities in relation to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality.
- Work positively to develop and foster good working relationships with colleagues and contracted personnel in order to maintain a culture of mutual respect and dignity.
