The Welding Apprentice for Cytiva is responsible for supporting the fabrication and welding of stainless-steel pressure vessels by learning and applying industry-standard welding techniques through a structured 4-year apprenticeship programme. This position is part of the Welding Engineering department located in Cytiva Portsmouth at Walton Road and will be on-site and require day release to college. At Cytiva, our vision is to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

Responsibilities
- Assist in the fabrication and welding of stainless-steel pressure vessels under supervision.
- Learn and apply TIG, MMA, and MAG welding techniques to meet manufacturing standards.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
Qualifications
- Technical Aptitude: Demonstrates a strong interest in engineering and the ability to learn welding techniques, including TIG, MMA, and MAG processes.
- Attention to Detail: Maintains high standards of accuracy in welding, fabrication, and interpreting technical drawings.
