This position reports to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and is located in Ilfracombe in an on-site role.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead engineering projects and activities that enhance manufacturing capabilities through upgraded or new equipment, following process qualification such as IQOQPQ validation methods.
  • Provide ownership and input into structured problem solving activities within the established project engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams—Operations, Manufacturing Engineering/Product Engineering, and Quality—to identify and deliver engineering solutions.
  • Research and learn processes, tools and technologies to deliver engineering project objectives.

Who You Are

  • Proven experience working within an engineering project environment and demonstrable knowledge of project management techniques.
  • Proactive and enthusiastic with experience utilizing structured problem solving tools (DMAIC, PSP, etc.) to translate complex technical problems into actionable plans.
  • Good communication skills to articulate technical and project problems, giving clear updates to project stakeholders.
  • Previously worked within a regulated environment (i.e., GMP) and owned change control activity including process risk assessment (dFMEA/pFMEA or other tool).

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in expertise in a technical discipline within engineering (e.g., fluid dynamics, aerodynamics, polymer science). Design for manufacture and CAD.
