About the Role
The People & Culture Manager will take the lead and provide comprehensive and confidential People & Culture support, contributing to our business goals whilst developing and maintaining positive relationships. The role will report to the General Manager and will build strong relationships with stakeholders, managers and all colleagues. It involves both administrative and non‑administrative support to the People department, and actively drives our goal of becoming an employer of choice.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee recruitment, selection and employee onboarding.
- Manage a performance management system/process.
- Ensure the company’s procedures comply with local employment laws.
- Handle all aspects of employee relations.
- Manage employee sick leave, holiday and personal time off.
- Manage monthly payroll, ensuring labour costs align with the budget.
- Manage the day‑to‑day People function effectively and efficiently.
- Support management in all aspects of performance and succession planning.
Core Skills & Experience
- Truly passionate about the Hospitality Industry with a genuine passion and a creative flair.
- Previous experience in HR and Recruitment is required.
- Team player who communicates well with all colleagues.
- Punctual, reliable and trustworthy.
- Previous experience within the hospitality or service‑based industry would be ideal but not essential.
- Enthusiastic team player with a flexible approach.
- Must have the right to work in the UK; documented evidence of eligibility will be required prior to commencing employment.
