A fantastic opportunity to join a leading UK golf operator as a Sales Manager in the lively town of Nottingham! My client owns multiple golf clubs and leisure businesses across the UK and therefore provides brilliant progression opportunities. They require a dedicated and passionate person to join their team who is experienced in leading sales teams and focused on delivering superb customer service.
The Main Responsibilities Of The Sales Executive Are:
- Guide and facilitate sales and marketing planning.
- Ensure the club has live sales and marketing plans for membership, functions, and group golf disciplines.
- Ensure all sales team members perform optimally, recognising and rewarding high performance, and managing underperformance.
- Ensure regular, relevant, and timely communication across teams for full understanding and transparency of company objectives and performance.
- Achieve/exceed targets for Membership, Group Golf and Functions lines, by month, and ultimately across the calendar year.
- Publish and maintain individual sales executive and team performance against targets.
- Maintain knowledge of local competitors.
- Coach, mentor and train team and comply personally with the group's sales-focused mystery shopper programme.
The Candidate:
- A minimum of 3 years experience as a Sales Manager in a fast-paced environment is essential.
- Demonstrated expertise in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive business growth and achieve revenue targets is essential.
- Hospitality and Leisure sector experience is desirable.
- Proven experience in leading, mentoring, and managing teams to enhance performance and achieve organisational goals.
- Experienced in people management, setting SMART objectives and driving productivity.
