Position: Operations Manager (Leisure Centre)
Location: Leisure Centre, Highgate
Salary: £30,000 (£34,800 with full pension flex benefit)
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager or Duty Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-end Leisure Centre in Highgate. The facilities include a gym, swimming pool, sports hall, studios, and sports pitches. The ideal candidate will have experience in the leisure industry and be highly motivated.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement operational standards in liaison with the General Manager.
- Manage daily operations, ensuring health & safety compliance.
- Plan and execute operational strategies within budget.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams on building upkeep.
- Assist in managing events, camps, and courses to enhance income.
- Develop business strategies to maximize the facility\’s potential.
Candidate Requirements
- National Pool Lifeguard Qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- Pool Plant Operator qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- First Aid Qualification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
- Strong organizational and administrative skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Flexible to work shifts across 7 days, including early mornings and late evenings.
Additional Information
