A unique opportunity to join a leading marina operator as a Marina Assistant Manager in the beautiful yachting village of Hamble. My client operates out of multiple marinas in the UK and abroad, providing premium berthing and boatyard services. They require a dedicated and passionate person to join their team who is focused on delivering superb customer service.
The Main Responsibilities
- To ensure the smooth day to day running of all operations in the marina; coordinating, allocating and monitoring the work and activities of the marina team.
- In conjunction with the site teams, ensure that daily, weekly and monthly checks are carried out as per the deadlines set, ensuring the site remains safe secure, clean and tidy and well landscaped at all times.
- To oversee the Administration team, to ensure all tasks are completed and the debt process is adhered to.
- To lead the team and support all marina and boatyard administration to ensure all records are maintained accurately in order to yield maximum revenue; assisting with the marina and boatyard administration where necessary, ensuring payment is received for all services under the guidelines laid down.
- To ensure the day to day operation and overall image of the site reflects the Companys position as market leader.
- To ensure all legal, HSE and company policies including financial polices are being adhered to.
- To build and develop an empowered team and motivated staff structure that functions flexibly, whilst providing the best in customer experience and site cover.
The Candidate
- Experience in the yachting world or a role within a marina is ideal, but not mandatory.
- Good team leadership skills and a desire to deliver exceptional customer service at all times.
- Experience with operational processes and health and safety management.
- To be able to deal with customer feedback and handle appropriately.
