We are recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy leisure centre. As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for members and staff. You will supervise staff, oversee health & safety, and deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily centre operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
  • Lead, motivate and support staff during shifts.
  • Maintain the highest standards of health & safety across the site.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service and handle queries effectively.
  • Assist with staff training, scheduling and operational planning.

Requirements

  • NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) essential.
  • Proven supervisory or duty management experience within a leisure or fitness environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • PPO (Pool Plant Operators) qualification desirable but not essential.
