Main Purpose of Job
To work closely with the Warehouse Supervisors and Co-ordinators to ensure effective and timely picking and dispatching of finished goods to customers.
Key Outputs / Main Functions
- Assemble Loads
- Physically pick finished goods using RF technology on a daily basis.
- Load and Off-load Containerised finished goods.
- The physical off-loading of Imported finished goods.
- Palletizing goods according to prescribed format for entry into the Distribution Centre.
- The physical loading of containers for Export purposes.
- Maintaining a Clean working environment.
- Ensure that the working area is clean and tidy at all times.
- Removal of bad cases from pallets inside the warehouse to an agreed location selected for this purpose.
- Ensuring that warehouse goods are clean and orderly.
- Participating in Stock Counts
- Physically counting Finished goods for the purpose of accurately recording them.
Summary of required experience and qualifications
- Five (5) CXC Ordinary Level Passes and experience in warehousing operations.
- A valid Forklift Operator Licence.
- Computer Literate.
- Competent use of Nestlé’s WHMS in an SAP environment.
