Als Service Engineer ben je verantwoordelijk voor het uitvoeren van service en commissioning werkzaamheden aan boord van schepen. De focus ligt hierbij op het gehele systeem, dus zowel mechanisch als elektrisch.

Door snel te reageren op aanvragen voor maritieme service- en reparatiewerkzaamheden, bieden wij efficiënte en hoogwaardige retrofits over de hele wereld in een markt waar naleving van de milieuwetgeving een langlopend onderwerp voor scheepseigenaren is.

Wat Ga Jij Doen Als Service Engineer

De functie bestaat voornamelijk uit het bezoeken van schepen voor het uitvoeren van fault finding, periodiek onderhoud, proefdraaien, crew training en commissioning. Werkzaamheden die jij o.a. verder gaat uitvoeren zijn:

  • technische survey’s en 3d scannen;
  • het uitvoeren van ballast water sampling en testing om de werking van het BWT systeem te controleren;
  • het uitvoeren van installatiewerkzaamheden of supervisie hiervan.

Je hebt een passie voor scheepsbouw en scheepvaart en goede kennis van technische toepassingen aan boord. Je bent proactief, oplossingsgericht, zelfstandig, communicatief en een sympathieke teamspeler. Eigen inbreng en initiatief nemen wordt zeer gewaardeerd binnen de organisatie. Je bent technisch goed onderlegd, functioneert op mbo+-niveau en hebt een uitstekende beheersing van de Nederlandse en Engelse taal.
