Apply Now Locations: Netherlands – Leek Goltens Green Technologies B.V. plans and installs green technology solutions like Ballast Water Treatment and Scrubber installations, perform the design and engineering of refits and technical installations on new build commercial vessels and super yachts. Currently we are looking for a Project Engineer New Building and Retrofit to join our expanding team. About The Job As Project Engineer you will assist our Senior Engineer with designing and detailing of technical spaces in new build vessels and retrofit installations in technical spaces in ships. You will be using Cadmatic Outfitting as software. You will be based in our office in Leek. Your work will take place mostly in our office. Occasionally you will work on site, travelling (mostly abroad) will be part of the job as well. General Tasks Prepare 3D concept designs and detailed engineering in Cadmatic Outfitting The routing of piping, cable trays, ventilation ducts in Cadmatic Outfitting Updating of P&ID’s and other drawings as required Specific tasks for Project Engineer Yacht Building Mechanical engineering in the broadest sense, in engine rooms and technical spaces. Perform ship-surveys to verify possible installation of equipment Perform laser scans on board of vessels or other locations Processing of 3D scans Conducting Ballast Water sampling jobs Requirements A technical education/background (MBO/HBO degree), preferably in mechanical engineering Relevant experience in a marine environment, but also newly graduated mechanical engineers are invited to apply A strong command of both Dutch and English languages, both written and spoken. Computer skills in 3D software, Cadmatic Outfitting, AutoCad, Microsoft Office programs.
