Goltens UK Ltd is seeking to fulfill the role of Sales Engineer.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Business development of our spare parts sales for our Principals products and general ships equipment through to the promotion of Goltens Worldwide range of Products and Services to U.K. customer base.
- Perform Sales Visits, nurture existing clients and develop new accounts in order to grow Goltens Group market share in the Marine, Offshore and O&G markets in the U.K.
- Liaise with Goltens Group Operational and Sales personnel and customers alike in order to coordinate on existing projects and conjure new opportunities.
- Support Goltens Management with intelligence gathering, creating and distributing Sales Reports and generating sales forecasts, sales budgets and operational plans.
- Keep up to date with markets and trends as it relates to Shipping, Offshore and O&G activities as well as being aware of competitors and suppliers developing services and technologies.
- Work to achieve and/or surpass pre-set Company objectives in Sales and Operations.
Experience:
- Be a time served Engineer for a minimum of five years.
- Demonstrate successful exposure to technical sales in Marine, Offshore or O&G markets with knowledge of Ship Owners, Ship Managers and Rig Operators domiciled in the U.K.
- Experience of trading equipment and spare parts in the maritime sector is an advantage.
- Be very proficient with all aspects of Microsoft Office 365.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communicating skills, including with people and organisations located outside the U.K.
- Have an ability to present and assert oneself in meetings having commercial and technical content.
- Have a familiarity with Purchase, Selling and Service Contracts.
- You will be customer focused, social, independent, flexible, accurate and can set priorities.
