Position: Sales Manager Location: Leek (Groningen), The Netherlands Salary: Competitive Hours: 40 hours
You will work in an international environment, which means regular travel is part of the position.
We are looking for a sales manager who will explore new markets and opportunities and finds new customers in addition to maintaining existing customer relationships.
You explore opportunities in our existing market of retrofits and possible solutions in the field of IMO regulations, but you are also continuously looking for possibilities to expand our services as a whole.

V. designs and installs green and technical solutions on board of new and existing ships.
By responding quickly to requests for marine service and repair, we provide efficient and high-quality retrofits around the world in a market where environmental compliance is a long-standing issue for ship owners.
Goltens Green Technologies: 17 colleagues, a total of 70 in the Netherlands and around 1200 colleagues worldwide.
Your responsibilities
- Generating sales leads for retrofit projects in the maritime and offshore industry.
- Visiting new and existing customers and following up on these leads by finding and developing technical solutions together with colleagues and customers.
- Being responsible for an efficient and successful sales process in the broadest sense of the word and building long-term customer relationships.
- Successfully transferring the projects to one of our project managers and working closely with the management team and our engineers.
- Being proactive, driven, solution-oriented, independent and responsible.
- Showing ownership and initiative, highly valued within the organization.
- Having strategic market insight and being interested in new technologies and developments within the shipping industry.
- Having knowledge of the current maritime industry, following technical developments and preferably having knowledge about IMO regulations.
- Being technically well-grounded and functioning at the HBO level.
- Having strong communication skills with an excellent command of the Dutch and English language.
- Preferably having knowledge about 3D laser scanning and good computer skills.
