Sales Development Representative – January start:

Golley Slater is a sales and marketing agency with offices in Leeds, Cardiff and Cirencester. We have over 65 years’ experience in the industry so you will be sitting next to some of the best people in the business.

Role & Office Overview:

Due to the rapid growth & expansion of our campaigns, we are currently looking for several enthusiastic, highly motivated, and collaborative individuals to join our riverside contact centre in Leeds!

You will be responsible for making initial enquiries, follow up calls and investigatory work to businesses whilst representing our client. Whilst doing this, you will ensure that you are friendly, compliant, and efficient.

Full training is provided so you can become an expert of the campaign. This training extends out of the classroom with ongoing support from our Learning and Development Team and Management Team.

In response to this, if targets are met – you will be rewarded with a generous, realistic, and uncapped commission structure.

We also support career progression with development into Senior Representative, Coaching and Management Roles being available.

We really value our team and building a good culture, we have proven examples of people joining the business and then establishing a career in management.

No experience is needed – we are looking for the perfect person, not the perfect experience. Full training is given. We want to find the perfect person – not the perfect experience.

We are based in a contact centre directly in Leeds City Centre so commuting in is very easy on public transport links (we are less than 5 minutes from Leeds City Centre!).

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong understanding of the industry to spark inciteful and meaningful conversations with warm prospects.
  • Self-manage a pipeline of interested prospects and communicate effectively.
  • Identify a need for a service and suggest appropriate actions.
  • Keep accurate and effective documentation and records to ensure communications are up to date.
  • React in a timely and appropriate manner to all potential conversation and leads given by a prospect.
  • Skills and Experiences:

  • Excellent effective listening and communication skills.
  • Being self-motivated so able to work unsupervised.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Someone who is not scared of the sales world.
  • Strong PC skills, including the full Microsoft Office.
  • Being a ‘People Person’ – we want to meet a number of different people.
  • A keen eye for detail!
  • Salary and Benefits Package:

  • Base Salary £21,000 – £23,000
  • Uncapped Commission Package with OTE £25,000
  • No evenings or weekends work! (M-F 9am – 5pm)
