Golley Slater is looking for a Media Planner to join our thriving media independent. The role will be responsible for identifying the target audience, producing media strategies and plans to meet clients’ objectives. You will conduct audience, market, and brand research and use your knowledge of the ever-changing media landscape to recommend the best approach for each client.

What you will be doing:

  • Researching and analyzing market data to understand the client’s target audience and the best ways to reach them through various media channels.
  • Creating media strategies including media channel rationale.
  • Developing detailed media plans specifying platforms and delivery methods for each media channel.
  • Briefing and collaborating with Media Owners on external channels.
  • Presenting media strategies and plans to clients.
  • Identifying target audiences and analyzing their behavior, characteristics, and routines using ETelmar SurveyTime.

The essential skills and experience required:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a media planning role within a media agency.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of media planning and buying techniques and strategies.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Strong numerical skills.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Neilson Ad Dynamix, ETelmar, and other industry systems is desirable but not mandatory.
