Golley Slater is looking for an Account Manager to join our thriving consumer brand independent. This role will be a trusted point of contact for the Client, Suppliers, and internal Agency department. You will know your client business in detail and take responsibility for implementation and delivery of campaigns to brief, on time and to budget. Where necessary, you will question briefs, suggest applicable alternatives, and strive to add value to the Client’s business.
What you will be doing:
- Focusing on developing Client relationships, gaining trust and credibility.
- Attending meetings and presentations and be confident in running these when required.
- Taking client briefs and be competent in ensuring as full a brief as possible is obtained.
- Ensure that projects, once commissioned, run smoothly, accurately and to budget, on time and to an agreed standard.
- Focusing on writing Creative and Design briefs and presenting briefs to Studio.
- Managing the Creative process, ensuring timelines are met and that the Creative product is on brief.
- Assume overall responsibility for scheduling, co-ordination and preparation of information and materials required for artwork and pre-production briefs / meetings.
- Manage and brief artwork author’s corrections as WIP.
Essential skills and experience you need to be successful in the role are:
- Experience working in a Consumer Brands Account Executive role (2-3 years).
- Content management / production experience.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Able to prioritise workload to tight deadlines.
- Commercial understanding and confident with numbers.
- Take pride in consistently producing high-quality work.
- A willingness to learn and continuously develop themselves.
