- Proactive outreach & lead generation activity – engaging prospects through various channels, including cold calling, networking, email, and social media tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator – through to securing a meeting with the prospect.
- Propose outreach activity and present your ideas to your marketing colleagues.
- Conduct initial needs assessments to understand prospect/client requirements and provide clear & accurate briefing notes for your colleagues when discussing opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop customised content that addresses prospect needs and creates 121 engagement opportunities.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with prospects and clients to understand their business and objectives.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking events to build a strong professional network.
- Represent Golley Slater via online social channels in a positive and professional manner.
- Stay informed about industry trends, news and competitor activity.
- Use CRM software to manage, maintain and improve the database of prospects.
- Maintain a log of which prospects have been contacted, the outcome of each interaction and schedule any necessary follow ups.
- Provide regular updates & feedback to the wider team – including various standard and ad-hoc reporting (e.g. the number of leads coming in, the number qualified, highlights, points of interest etc).
Skills and experience:
-
- A track record in lead generation, growing & developing the customer base.
- Excellent external communication skills with an ability to nurture leads and develop relationships with potential customers.
- Excellent internal communication skills with a proven and demonstratable ability to communicate with and manage senior stakeholders.
