Job description

Golley Slater is looking for an Account Executive to join our thriving PR team independent.

This role will be delivering PR, social media and influencer marketing campaigns across our client portfolio.

The role will include creative writing, media relations, project management, research, reporting, client service skills.

What you will be doing:

  • Writing informatively and persuasively for diverse audiences and platforms e.g., media materials such as features and press releases, film scripts, social media content calendars.
  • Developing, and maintaining media and influencer lists.
  • Building strong relationships with individual journalists and influencers.
  • Generating positive media coverage for clients in relevant media (to include developing news angles, press briefings, pitching to journalists.)
  • Supporting account managers in building and maintaining client confidence in campaign delivery.
  • Developing an understanding of client requirements to provide the most appropriate solution.
  • Managing the day-to-day administration of the accounts including the issuing of status reports, timing plans and contact reports where required by the Account Managers.
  • The essential skills and experience you need to be successful in the role are:

  • 1-2 years of experience working in social media, PR or content marketing – either in an Agency or in-house environment.
  • A confident communicator with an enthusiastic, can-do attitude.
  • Able to manage a diverse workload and work to deadlines.
  • Highly organised, methodical, and excellent attention to detail.
