Join our Research and Innovation Team and Stroke Team as a Stroke Research Sister / Charge Nurse. Based in the Stroke department, your role will focus on early patient identification for research studies. We seek a compassionate, accountable individual committed to delivering excellence and respectful treatment to colleagues, patients, and service users.

Main Duties

  • Manage and coordinate stroke clinical research studies within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Your responsibilities include recruiting patients, supporting and educating them during studies, collecting and documenting accurate data, and setting up new studies in collaboration with the R&I department, ensuring compliance with all regulations including ICH GCP guidelines.

Person Specification

Knowledge and Experience

  • Post registration experience in a Stroke clinical environment
  • Ability to undertake nursing duties independently
  • Clinical skills and knowledge supported by theory
  • Proven team leadership experience

Qualifications & Training

  • First level Adult Nursing - NMC registration
  • Minimum 2 years nursing practice in Stroke
  • Teaching qualification (ENB 998 and/or C&G 730) or equivalent
  • Evidence of CPD
