As we continue to grow our Corporate Affairs team, we are seeking an Executive Director, a proven leader with global experience, a strong corporate affairs pedigree and a track record of success at a large network agency. You will be at the helm of client relationships, leading senior counsel and delivering corporate communications strategies that set the agenda. You will shape high profile campaigns, mentor future leaders within the team and be a trusted advisor to C-suite executives.
This role requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership, the ability to see the bigger picture while rolling up your sleeves to ensure flawless execution. You will be instrumental in growing our Corporate Affairs offering, strengthening our global footprint and delivering standout work that influences at scale.
What You’ll Do
- Lead on the design and delivery of strategic corporate affairs and reputation management programmes for global clients
- Act as senior counsel to CEOs, Boards, and C-suite leaders on critical issues and opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with business, policy and media stakeholders worldwide
- Oversee and inspire client account teams, ensuring quality, creativity and impact across all work
- Drive business growth through client development, new business and network collaboration
- Provide thought leadership on emerging corporate affairs trends, issues management and public policy
- Mentor and develop talent within the team, nurturing a high performing and collaborative culture
- Contribute to the agency’s leadership agenda, helping shape vision, culture and future growth
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in corporate communications and corporate affairs
- Proven background at a leading global agency, ideally within a large network environment
- A strong record of senior client counsel at C-suite/Board level
- Expertise across key corporate affairs disciplines: reputation management, issues/crisis, stakeholder engagement, leadership positioning and sustainability is a bonus
- Global perspective, experience managing international client portfolios and cross agency teams
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, mentor and grow teams
- Commercial acumen with proven ability to drive client growth and win new business
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, credible, persuasive and influential
