We are looking for a Product Designer – Toys: a driven, creative professional who wants to play a central role in our toy development team. You will work closely with a vibrant group of internal and external partners, including our teams in the US, the Netherlands, the UK and Hong Kong.

Responsibilities

  • Brainstorm, sketch, and develop inspiring product concepts for physical toys.
  • Identify new trends and product opportunities.
  • Own the design aesthetics, play pattern, and experience of the brand/product.
  • Make visual brand presentations and present them to senior management.
  • Lead brainstorming sessions within the design team.
  • Prototype ideas and test products with kids.

Requirements:

Education and Experience

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in product design or industrial design.
  • 3-5 years of toy industry experience.
  • Good sketching skills to clearly present ideas and concepts.
  • Good skills in 3D design software (e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Blender, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of 3D sculpting (e.g., Blender or Nomad) is highly advantageous.
  • Good knowledge of current design packages, including Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong interest in toys.
  • Experience managing schedules across multiple simultaneous projects.
