As a Duty Manager at Crerar Hotels, you will be a key presence on the floor, warmly welcoming guests and ensuring seamless daily operations. You will be responsible for Food & Beverage service during your shift, covering Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Teas and Dinner operations. You will support departmental leaders, step in where needed to maintain high service standards, and oversee financial tasks during your shifts. You'll engage with VIP guests, event organisers, and visitors, ensuring their needs are met while effectively communicating important details to staff. Handling guest concerns efficiently, you will act as an escalation point in the absence of senior management. You'll also lead in emergencies, conduct venue walk-rounds for security and presentation, and ensure smooth handovers between shifts. Additionally, you will manage guest requests, assist with alternative accommodation if needed, and oversee venue set-ups, maintenance issues, and promotions to enhance the guest experience.
